My day started out with my mom stuffing me with food. For the morning I ate a chinese bun, Nutella on crackers, a banana, Vermicelli, and chocolate milk. I got a couple of phone calls from Alishea and Madura letting me know when they were leaving home. So the plan was all set. I walked down to the library to meet Alishea. During my walk, I came upon frozen snow and slush =_= I took a short cut, I was just about to passed these twin old men until they said “Sunny day we’re having!” or following along those lines. I just blurted good morning to them. They replied back with good morning as well. I noticed when one of them said something the other would say something similar to it. Before I walked on, I said, “Have a great day”. They said something like “you too”. I continued on. I thought they were a strange pair, but I also looked at how long they have stayed with each other. I wouldn’t be able to do that. The library was in my view so I ran up to it. I arrived inside and looked around just standing in one place for 15 seconds. So I walked out and called Madura to see if Alishea had left already. I got out the paper which I copied her phone number in. I took out 50 cents which was pretty difficult when you have to juggle so many things. I had to slouch more to be able to read the instructions on the pay phone. I picked up the (maybe it’s called) receiver, dialed the number and slotted in two quarters. The phone was ringing…….someone answered.
I was like “Madura, Madura, Madura”.
“Hello?” they said.
“Are you Madura?” I asked.
“Uuhhh, you got the wrong number”, they responded.
I said, “Oh, sorry”
What’s worse was they sounded like someone around my age x___X I wonder if the construction workers around me were listening. I looked at the phone number again and [u]boom![/u] the area code was wrong. So I dialed again this time using up another two quarters. Madura picked up and I asked where Alishea was, as I asked I saw her come out from the library exit doors and waiting inside the building. So I told Madura I just saw her in a very relieved and excited voice. She told me where she was at the moment and hung up after bye. I speed walked up to the library, once she saw me, Alishea and I started talking about where she was in the library, it was really funny how I couldn’t spotted her even when she was sitting right in front. xD. We got to the bus and took it to the station. There we waited for a while until Madura met up with us. After that we took the subway and discussed about how Tashi should take the subway to go home afterschool. We got to the intersection. And called Tashi's house. She told us she was getting out now. Madura had to go to the washroom so she went inside PizzaPizza, once she got out of the restaurant, Alishea and I saw Tashi running up to us. We were full of joy we sprang from our feets and ran to the stop light, laughing, calling out her name, giggling, smiling. We looked a bit retarded. The red light was on for quite a long time so Alishea and I tried signalling (using our hands) to Tashi that we were going over to her side of the sidewalk. We planned on checking out Acme Burger to see if there was anything good to eat because Alishea never ate breakfast all morning. Madura caught up with us and in we went. I didn't bother looking at the menu, I was thinking about the Taco Bell taste I was about to indulge once we got to Sherway Gardens. Later they ushered me out of the restaurant, complaining about how expensive the food was, 6 bucks for one burger. So we decided to stick to some place we knew and that was PizzaPizza. The sun was bright when I sat on the table, it shone through the window heating my hair from above. 3 busses to Sherway passed by. After we finished eating we walked to the stop and had to wait for 20 minutes until the next bus arrived. It was a fun ride. The transfer had a 070 on it, Tashi thought the two 0's could be eyes and the 7 could be a nose. So it was a face. It was one of those things that I wouldn't be able to notice. The first store we came up to was Sporting Life because it had two outside entrances. Alishea ooo'd at the escalators..... Madura found a badminton racket and started swinging with it as if she were hitting a birdie. We looked at the swimwear they had there, but they looked like they were meant to be worn by kids. Eventually we got out, Alishea and Tashi spotted Le Chateau so they wanted to go in there, Madura didn't have an interest to be inside a clothing retail store so yes that's right...she spotted the Sony store and dragged me there. I got out of the Sony store and explored the section for a bit. I got back in and Madura was eyeballing these headphones. Then Alishea and Tashi appeared. We played around with the digital cameras there, and took a group shot. We skimmed through the images random people took and there was one with a man's face the area where his mustache is, it looked funny and awful to look at the same time. The three of us excluding Madura sat in the couches outside, I didn't bother sitting, just yelling at Madura to get out. Alishea suggested I should try sitting in the couch. Tashi told me it sucks you into the seat. I sat down and it sure brought me in low. Finally Madura got out. And I checked the map to see where H20+ was. I found it and on our way we saw this store with stripped knee high socks, we were thinking about how Irene would love them. There was one with hot pink and black stripes. The Source was in view and they wanted to go in, so I was left to walk to H20+ alone. As I was walking there was this lady in front of me, once I reached the store I realized the lady was an H20+ employee so it looked like I followed her xP. I started looking at one wall, (I didn't bother looking at the rest of the store) I just wanted to find the product I wanted and go out. To my surprise I found it really quickly. So I waited until two of the employees finished with their conversation. It was at a decent price. It took me a long time to get my wallet back into my purse, so it was nerve racking when I felt their eyes at me struggling. I said "have a nice day" and walked out, knocking the bag against the door. To be continued. . .
